At Grafton, WV, National Cemetery

Mom and Dad’s ashes were separated into two portions, both co-mingled. One portion was laid to rest in the newer National Cemetery in Grafton, WV, just off US Route 50. The second portion was returned to the box which had contained Dad’s ashes since his passing in 1999.

A cold, gray afternoon, but not too bad for mid-January. The sun came out later in the day. A stone marker will be placed at the head of the grave later.
