Well, I feel a little more confident in the percussion lines, but they still lack variety. It’s just copy & paste from end to end. Still, the possibilities are vast if I just experiment with virtual drum kits exclusively and think hard about what I want to hear.
BTW: what you’re hearing is in 7/8 time, 120 beats per minute. I love me some odd-ball meters. Listening to Brubeck and Bartok for five decades-plus will do that to ya. Geez, has it really been that long?
